Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello everybody! You can call me Isabelle. I am a 2-year-old spayed female Spaniel mix. I weigh about 17 pounds.
I am extremely affectionate and I have a very sweet disposition. There isn't a mean bone in my body. If you let me, I'll promptly climb into your lap and shower you with kisses. If you're a fan of that type of stuff then we'll be the best of friends!
I get along great with everybody I meet - dogs and people alike!
I will need some basic training as I do tend to walk under the feet of all my human companions. I'm not doing it out of defiance, I just really want to be near them. And, I've never been taught differently. I'm a smart girl so I imagine that I'll learn all kinds of stuff from you. We're going to have some much fun getting to know each other!
You're probably curious about where I came from, what my history is, and how I ended up in need of a home. Unfortunately, not a lot is known. I was brought into a local high-kill shelter as a stray. I've definitely had puppies before, but there's no telling where they are now. I appear to be in good health, so it's likely I hadn't been a stray for very long.
I spent a week at the shelter wondering what my future held. Would I make it out alive? Would I spend the rest of my life in the pound? Thankfully, a volunteer took notice of me and contacted CageFree to ask them if they had any room for a pup like me. Apparently, it was my lucky day. They said yes!
I'm seeking a loving family who will ensure that I am always safe and that I never end up on the streets again. I will probably need an active family as I am still a young pup. I'd love to explore the world with you! If you think that I would make a great companion, please don't hesitate to contact CageFree and tell them you want to meet me!
