My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beautiful Bogie, with a gorgeous gold and white curly top knot, was rescued from an an abandoned home where he was left alone for at least a week in the fenced in, overgrown backyard. He's only a year old!!! His gorgeous gold and white flat coat was matted. Kind people had been putting food over the wall. Two special people to the rescue! Bogie had apparently never been walked on a leash. He had to be carried out of the yard. In two days, he's walking slowly on a leash! A car trip, a bath, soft kind words, and good food, and this boy is playing with other doggies and begging for affection from one of his rescuers (which was happily given)! Bogie is so happy now! His full tail just won't stop wagging! He's so grateful to have friends, be clean and brushed (mats had to be cut off ), eat good food and have water. He's doing well, so far, with potty-training. He got his shots, his microchip, and got neutered today. Bogie needs booster shots in 3 weeks, since he's a puppy and we're not sure he ever received his puppy shots to keep his immune system boosted. He weighs a lean, athletic 25 pounds, and his adopton fee is $325. Such a sweet, young doggie. Bogie's microchip is through AKCREUNITE.ORG.

Bogie has no known health issues and no behavior issues. He's learning to walk on a leash. He'll be adopted quickly! If you're interested in meeting or adopting this sweetheart, please go to our official website at www.AdorableDogRescue.org and complete an Adoption Application. Thank you!

Bogie, now Duke, is adopted September 27, 2015 to Connie and Steve F of Tucson, AZ. They are so happy and excited to adopt Duke! Steve walks twice daily and has been wanting a walking companion! Connie has already admitted that she can't wait to spoil him! :-D He's going to be 24/7 indoor dog except for walks. Duke is so sweet and loving towards both of them already!! It truly seems to be a perfect match!
