Foster parents have the first option to adopt. We will provide all you need to foster.
Weight: 20 lbs
Age: 4 yrs old
Personality: Fleur loves people and she's very affectionate. She is energetic and enjoys playing with balls, swimming, and is very food motivated. Big problem with her is that she has anxiety issue so she needs someone who is experienced and know to how to handle her.
Coat: She has a super soft coat that is medium length now. She will require regular bathing and an occasional professional groom.
Training: Fleur knows how to sit, stay, down and shake. She is also potty trained and crate trained.
Potty trained: Yes. She uses pee pads or goes outside to do her business.
Health: She does not have any heart problems like other King Charles have. She had luxating patella (kneecap) surgery on both of her hind legs, but she is fully recovered and doing very well.
History: Her owner abandoned her after her surgery and she had to stay at the same vet for a year. Due to this horrible past, she has anxiety issues.
Fostered in: Fullerton
Type of home: We would like to see her go to a family who has a back yard and can spend time continuing her training classes due to her anxiety issues.
Crate trained: Yes
Good with Dogs: Fleur's foster mom has three other dogs and she does great with them.
Good with Kids: Yes. Fleur loves to play with kids.
Good with Cats: No, was very interested in the cat at the vet's office. Has a high prey drive.
Adoption fee (non-refundable): $300
