Mia's Story...
Mia #3533 is an adorable 1-year-old female, Jack Russell mix. She is very sweet and loveable. She loves a good back rub! Mia is kennel, house, and leash trained! She plays well with other dogs of her size, and absolutely loves children. Mia would make a great travel buddy, as she enjoys car rides. She is full grow and weigh just over 20 pounds. We believe you can always teach an “old” dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Email dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for adoption event locations and updates www.facebook.com/lcarmd.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a Waldorf Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
