Meet John! This guy's curious nature and intelligent personality will immediately win you over. John was found as a stray roaming the streets all by himself when he was picked up and brought to the shelter. Despite his adorable looks, he stuck around because he was always so excited to get outside, no one felt that "connection". Now that he is in a foster home, he is settled down and ready to meet his future family! Although this peppy guy still loves to play with other dogs and romp around in the yard, he also loves to cuddle with his foster mom and take walks around the neighborhood. John is extremely smart and picked up on his house manners and basic commands in a snap. Although a little shy upon initially meeting a new friend, this guy comes around quickly and promises to be your next best friend!

At just over a year old, this guy weighs in around 20lbs, making him a great size for just about any household! He would be an ideal playmate for another pup (his current friend is 60lbs!), but would also settle for trips to the dog park. His training and sweet personality make him a wonderful companion for just about anyone. Won't you give this sweet guy a chance?

Dogs in our program are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and given a physical by a veterinarian prior to adoption.
