Chanel's Story...
Warm and caring – I am looking for someone to share life’s ups and downs…

Super affectionate, Chanel is the cat you would want by your side through good times and bad. She will make every day better!

When you meet this lovely cat, you will find it hard to believe that anyone would relinquish her. She loves people and immediately shows her warm and caring side by soliciting pets, pushing her head into your hand and rolling over for belly rubs.

Although she does not hiss or growl at the other cats in her cat community room, she has shown signs that she may want to be the only feline in your life.

Are you looking for a feline companion with lots of love to give? If you are, Chanel is looking for you! Come and meet Chanel to discover what a truly lovely cat she is.

You can meet Chanel at the Coronado Animal Care Facility any day between 9:00am and 4:00pm (except major holidays). The Coronado Animal Care Facility is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.

If you are interested in adopting Chanel, you must first complete a Cat Adoption Application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor. Cat adoption applications are available at the facility or you may complete the Online Cat Adoption Application.

If you have any questions, please contact Cat Adoptions online or call Bob at 619-840-9727.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chanel, a Coronado Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Coronado, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Coronado.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coronado already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coronado breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coronado paves the way for another one to be saved.
