Cassie is an absolutely gorgeous black & white short-haired Border Collie mix. She is a high energy girl looking for a home where she can run & play & jump! She would be a fantastic running & hiking companion. Cassie is super smart and will learn whatever you ask of her. Her people probably didn't ask much as she could use a bit of training.

Cassie is about 9-12 months old. She is learning to walk nicely on a leash although she still get super excited if she see something interesting just out of leash range. She gets along great with other dogs, just wants to play, play, play. We're not sure about cats. And she could be a little overwhelming for small children but will probably do great in a home with larger kids.

We are scratching our heads over how this gorgeous girl landed in the shelter. And then she wasn't adopted right away! So she got sick and stressed out. Shelters are no place for active, sensitive dogs like Cassie and she did not manage too well. The shelter put out the plea for a rescue to help this amazing girl find her forever home and an amazing man stepped up to give her a safe place to be until she is HOME.

Cassie is spayed, current on all vaccinations, tested negative for heart worm, and microchipped. She is ready to go!
