Beautiful Boulder is looking for a cool and awesome family (just like he is!!) Boulder was rescued out of Cowlitz County shelter and now really wants you to consider him for their next great family member! Here’s what his current foster family says about him: “Boulder is a wonderful, big goofball. But at the same time he is very sensitive and extremely loving.” Boulder’s a big boy at 70lbs and he is about 1.5 years old. Boulder gets along very well with other dogs he has lived with many other dogs. He is currently well socialized at doggie daycare and he loves it! Boulder is a terrific exercise partner, and he is very athletic with lots of energy. Enjoys daily runs and is great on the lead. He runs right by your side! Boulder enjoys the water and loves taking showers. He is very affectionate and lives for his cuddling time on the couch. Boulder would love to sleep right beside you in bed. He does really well at the vet and with nail clippings, exam and shots. He is a little shy when he meets new people and can be cautious when he hears loud noises. He only needs a little time to warm up and some bonding training-time to get over his small fears. Boulder would love a fenced yard with room to run and play and a canine sibling would really make him smile! Boulder has lived with cats previously and did fine so we are sure with slow intros he will be fine with cats. Boulder is very smart, learns extremely quickly and much love to give your energetic and active family. Boulder is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
