Daisy's Story...
Charming DAISY was brought to the El Cajon Animal Shelter because the dog in her home wasn't treating her nicely. When Daisy's owner had to decide which pet would go, poor Daisy drew the short straw. Daisy is about five years old, and she has an exquisite, unusual coat. She's what's known as a Tortie Point, so she has a type of tortoiseshell coat, along with lovely blue eyes. You'll have to see her in person to truly appreciate her striking good looks. **TAKE NOTE: DAISY HAS BEEN TOILET-TRAINED. JUST THINK OF ALL THE MONEY YOU'LL SAVE BY NOT HAVING TO BUY KITTY LITTER!** Way to go, Daisy! Daisy hopes you'll visit her soon. She's waiting for you in the cat room, kennel #123.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a El Cajon Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
