Gorgeous George's Story...
GORGEOUS GEORGE did not have a pretty start in life! Abandoned as a kitten, a woman found him nothing but skin and bones, hardly able to stand. She took him home and fattened him up; but her cats did not like this tiny newcomer and picked on him. Poor George hid all the time! In his foster home, he enjoys tearing up and down the cat tree, playing in tunnels and boxes, and breaks into a purr as soon as you touch him -- you cannot overpet this boy!

At six months, George's playful ways will eventually mellow into into an affectionate kitty with the most beautiful, vivid tabby markings! He will make a wonderful addition to your home! This kitten is NOT at the Sanctuary. Call Foster Mom DIANE at 412-901-6042 to meet GORGEOUS GEORGE today! He is located near Greensburg.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gorgeous George, a Delmont Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Delmont, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Delmont.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Delmont already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Delmont breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Delmont paves the way for another one to be saved.
