Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Have you ever seen the Disney movie The Fox and the Hound? Try to tell us that Corduroy Tod doesn't look just like Tod the fox. Right? And not only is he the cutest thing ever with his big ol' ears and his wispy pantaloons but just like his namesake, he is carefree, mischievous and incredibly loving. Corduroy Tod was abandoned in an apartment for a week during the hottest days of summer with no food, water or ventilation and rescued only after a neighbor heard him howling and whimpering for days and called Animal Control. Corduroy then sat at a high kill shelter while his previous owners fought to get him back. Thankfully, he wasn't returned to them and instead became a Ruff Start pup. Approximately 5 months old and only 10 lbs. his breed is a total mystery but we are guessing Dachshund/Long Hair Chihuahua mix. CT is a social butterfly who loves other dogs, big and small, cats and every person he meets. In true puppy style, he plays hard and sleeps hard, loves his toys and thinks kissing his foster parents is his job in life. Corduroy Tod is crated when alone but is not a fan so his new family should be ready to continue working on crating and housebreaking. CT is up to date on age appropriate vaccines, neutered, de-wormed and microchipped.. If you are interested in adopting our little fox, please fill out an application at ruffstarthappytails.org.
