Ireen's Story...
NAME: Ireen
GENDER: Female
BREED: Terrier mix
COLOR: White/Black
AGE: 3 months
WEIGHT: 13 Lbs

Ireen is a beautiful, good tempered and well behaved puppy. She loves being around people and is gentle with children. She’s good with dogs of all sizes and also cats.

Ireen is a playful, friendly and easy-going puppy. By nature, she has very good temperament and follows commands well. She loves doggie playmates, since she’s growing up with doggies around at foster home. She may be a little shy when meeting strangers, but warms up quickly with yummy treats. She is a smart girl, a good dose of love, communications, rules and structure will certainly help to establish the bond.

Meet Ireen!

Ireen was rescued along with her littermates when they were found by a rescuer during a heavy downpour.
The rescuer was driving through a country road and had to stop on the roadside when she heard puppies whimpering. It took her awhile to locate them; eventually the pups were found in a ditch huddled together, starving and covered in mud. It was obvious the puppies were dumped in the secluded countryside road by some heartless people and were left there to die. The rescuer knew the puppies would have little chance of survival if left there unattended. So she scooped up the puppies out of the ditch and rushed them to the vet for medical treatment.
Ireen is one of these lucky puppies.

Ireen is very healthy; she has up to date vaccinations, rabies shot, spayed and microchipped. She is ready for her forever home. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of raising a puppy. Pls give Ireen a chance to live a happy doggie life that she so deserves. Ireen is patiently waiting!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ireen, a Castro Valley Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
