Intake info: Meet Shorty! Shorty came to us from a shelter a few weeks ago weighing in at only 29lbs. We are told he's 8-9 months. He was neutered last week. He's a sweet boy but pretty timid. His ears are scarred from a possible dog fight. But he's cute as a button.

9/27/2015 Update: Shorty is now about 36 lbs, but is still a little underweight and has a small frame compared to most English Bulldogs. We believe shorty came from either a puppy mill or back yard breeder and spent most of his life locked up in a crate. Because of this, he will relieve himself wherever he is, including in crate during the night.

Shorty is still 100% a puppy as far as his personality goes. He is very alpha and loves to antagonize the other dogs in his foster home. He would probably benefit from obedience training. Shorty will need a family with a lot of patience to work with him on both obedience and crate and house training.

Shorty tends to be an ankle/foot biter and plays rough and will therefore not be adopted to family with children under 10.

Shorty will be adopted on a training contract requiring obedience training once adopted
