My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Age: 3 years
Gender: Male
Color: Liver & White
Weight: 40 lbs
Variety: Mix

Meet Finn, a happy boy who is looking for his very own Forever Family. His unusual and attractive coloration indicates that he is probably a Springer mix. Perhaps his heritage is part Brittany, but we're not sure. He has the typical Springer energy, and he loves to play fetch and run with his canine foster brother. However, he is also content to relax and curl up with his humans.

Finn enjoys the run of the house while his people are away, and he will look out the window until his family comes back. He definitely prefers to have his humans around more often than not, so he would do best in a Forever Family with at least one stay-at-home person.

This handsome boy is a good travel companion. Finn sits or lies quietly on the seat and will only bark if someone gets too close to the car. He does, however, get very excited when the car is approaching his favorite dog park! Finn would do best with a fenced yard with room to run. He can be protective of his yard if strangers or unfamiliar dogs come too close. He does best with laidback and low-key dogs, and he is cat friendly. Any children in Finn's new home should be dog-savvy teens.

Finn knows many commands, including Come, Sit, Down, Off, Back, Up, and Stay. He doesn't bark unless he is excited, as when someone comes to the door or he sees another dog. He also sometimes gets nervous when he meets new dogs and people on his walks, and he may bark and carry on at those times. Finn would benefit from calm, firm leadership and opportunities to socialize in safe settings. He is being fostered in St Michael, MN.

Finn is a typical Velcro boy who is neutered, vaccinated, housetrained, and ready to become a wonderful member of some lucky family. Please contact his case managers at the e-mail address below if you are interested in this sweet boy.

Please read the Adoption FAQ and get an Adoption Application approved before inquiring about Finn.
