Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Look at sweet Nadia. She is the mom who we rescued a few weeks ago with her four puppies. Just like her puppies, she has made amazing progress. She still needs some weight on her and to learn to trust men again (skittish and fearful around them but has improved a lot), but she will be worth the wait. She is an incredibly gentle 1.5 to 2 year old lab/shepherd/hound or hunting dog mix with a wonderful disposition and lap dog nature. She is doing great in her crate training, loves the dogs and children in her foster home and is working on potty training as well. She is also learning to be a carefree dog, where she can play with toys and enjoy being out on the leash. She has some fear of the leash so she is slowly learning that being on it can be a positive experience. Just today, she went for a short walk and rewarded her foster mom with happy tail wags and awesome leash manners. She truly soaks up all the love and attention she can get and has so much to give. All Nadia needs is to be treated like the special gem she is and she will bring light and love to her forever home. We will post more updates of Nadia over the next weeks as she gets ready for adoption. If interested please fill out an application at www.ozziespoundpuppies.org
