Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COURTESY LISTING - This dog is not in foster care with BAPBR and we make no guarantees about his/her health or temperament. We are providing a service to the Del Norte County Animal Shelter to help with adoption. If you are interested in adopting this dog please contact the shelter directly - their info is below.
Looking for a super-sweet couch potato to lounge with? Boy, do we have the dog for you! Meet Fresno, an 8-year old English bulldog mix from Del Norte Animal Shelter. Fresno came to the shelter with mom and son duo, Merlot and Magnum. It’s unknown how Fresno interacts with dogs (other than Merlot and Magnum) and cats, but he is definitely a people-oriented dog!
For the most part, Fresno is a super laid-back dude. He likes to keep a low profile by keeping his barking to a minimum and taking a lot of naps. Fresno is also kennel trained, very ball-motivated, and enjoys spreading joy and love to people!
Unfortunately, Fresno has a few medical issues. He suffers from an occasional seizure and isn’t neutered due to the fact that he has a mass on his prostate. He would need medical attention for this issue. Most people turn their head and walk away from dogs like Fresno because it can set them back financially. Will you be the one to prove this idea wrong and provide Fresno with a home of unconditional love?
Overall, Fresno has a lot of love and loyalty to offer the perfect forever family. He hopes that, in your eyes, his amazing attributes far outweigh his medical shortcomings. Please consider making Fresno apart of your family; he would be forever grateful for your love and care.
Born Again Pit Bull Rescue regularly works with the wonderful volunteers at the Del Norte County Animal Control Shelter located out in rural Crescent City, CA (a small coastal town on the OR/CA border). They have a very small shelter with small indoor 3x6 kennel runs, low foot traffic, odd adoption viewing hours and it rains a lot which means the dogs can’t always come outside to play -- so we want you to see some of their really great dogs that they have up for adoption -- it's only a short 5-hour drive from Portland to adopt your new family member!
Del Norte County Animal Control is located in Crescent City, CA. They are open Monday – Friday from 8am to 5pm. They are closed Saturday and Sunday.
Address: 2650 Washington Blvd - Crescent City, CA 95531
Shelter phone: (707) 464-7235
