My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

COURTESY LISTING - This dog is not in foster care with BAPBR and we make no guarantees about his/her health or temperament. We are providing a service to the Del Norte County Animal Shelter to help with adoption. If you are interested in adopting this dog please contact the shelter directly - their info is below.

Meet the super spunky Labrador-mix, Hooch! Mr. Hooch is available through the Del Norte County Animal Shelter. He is approximately 9 years old, but that hasn’t proved to slow him down. He loves to walk, show off his wide array of tricks, and--typical to any Lab--he will do just about anything for a tasty morsel as a reward. Hooch can sometimes be a grumpy old man. Because of this, we recommend that he goes to a home where there are no other pets. He would do well with kids over the age of 10. Hooch keeps a clean kennel and mostly stays pretty quiet at the shelter--all the more reason to get him out and into a new home where he can play with a family! Hooch would love it if you gave him a nice, active, and loving place to live out his golden years as they are fast approaching! He promises to be loyal to you for the rest of your days. Can you do the same for him?

Born Again Pit Bull Rescue regularly works with the wonderful volunteers at the Del Norte County Animal Control Shelter located out in rural Crescent City, CA (a small coastal town on the OR/CA border). They have a very small shelter with small indoor 3x6 kennel runs, low foot traffic, odd adoption viewing hours and it rains a lot which means the dogs can’t always come outside to play -- so we want you to see some of their really great dogs that they have up for adoption -- it's only a short 5-hour drive from Portland to adopt your new family member!

Del Norte County Animal Control is located in Crescent City, CA. They are open Monday – Friday from 8am to 5pm. They are closed Saturday and Sunday.

Address: 2650 Washington Blvd - Crescent City, CA 95531
