Maximus's Story...
Meet Maximus, Max is a two-year-old 9lb Chihuahua mix. Max is the most perfect foster I've ever had. He is potty trained, he doesn't bark much, he doesn't get into anything and all he wants is love. He is a very gentle and loving guy and whoever adopts him will be very lucky. Max hasn't had the best life. His previous owners weren't very good to him. Max is happy just hanging out all day on your lap. When he came to me he needed a little bit of self-confidence but he's coming around now and really opening up. Max would do well with another dog and with gentle children. He does bark at the Cats once in a while but not too much I think he would do fine in a home with cats. If you'd like to learn more about this sweet little guy please contact his foster mom, Chastity at 443-248-4740.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maximus, a Las Vegas Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
