My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Sammy" is a playful, energetic 2 yr old purebred Bernese Mt Dog. He is friendly and social. Loves to go for walks, be petted, and play, He does have an issue with feeling fearful and defensive if you grab his collar and try to force him to do things he doesnt want. Gets along fine with other dogs and with our cat. We prefer an adult only home for Sammy. For more info on this bred, please see this site: www.BMDINFO.org and also www.BMDCA.org ~~ NOTE: We always require a securely fenced yard for all dog adoptions, especially dogs of large active breeds, and never any of those nasty shock collars (ie no invisible fences.)
