Kramer's Story...
Hi! My name is Kramer and I had a rough start in life. I am a Jack Russell mix boy and am about 6-7 months old. Please don't think that my front leg being turned a little keeps me down. I've got it working again and I can run and play with the best of them.

Sometimes I just don't understand. I guess I did something wrong because my person got mad at me and grabbed my front leg, and broke it backwards to punish me. I really didn't mean to be bad. But some good people came and rescued me, took me to a clinic and I got all fixed back up.

Everything is healed now...even my heart. I don't blame anyone for what happened to me. I just want to run and play because now I know I'm safe. I just need a new forever home where I know people will love on me and not hurt me. I am a good boy...and I promise to love you back and play with you until you just can't play anymore! Please give me a chance for happiness!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kramer, a Urbana Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Urbana, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Urbana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Urbana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Urbana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Urbana paves the way for another one to be saved.
