Yoda came to United Yorkie Rescue September 23rd 2015. I was pulled from an area shelter. It doesn’t appear I’ve been abused as I’m social and will approach everyone. When my foster momma took me to the vet for an evaluation, he thought I’m about 3 to 4 years old, and I weighed in at 6 pounds. I’m a little on the skinny side, needing to gain a pound for an ideal weight of about 7lbs. My skin is in bad shape, I itch a lot from flea infestation when I was rescued, but the vet said that it will get better in no time with good nutrition. I’m a little guy who loves to cuddle and lay on your lap or be held.
I’m settling in at my foster home, I sleep in with the others, under the blanket right next to foster momma all night, and I don’t need to get up to go out potty. I haven't quite figured out the potty thing yet, but I’m trying! Foster momma puts a belly band on for inside the house, until I get it down. I’m easy to read when I have to poo though, I start running around in circles like crazy and then she takes me outside, best part is I get a treat when I’m done.
