Wendy's Story...
Wendy is a 7 pound 6-month-old Chiweenie who is cheerful, energetic, loving, out-going, social, and will alert her owner when an intruder is present. She is friendly with all dogs from her own size, or as big as an Irish Wolfhound, who is one of her foster siblings. Like most small dogs she is most content being cuddled-up in someone's arms, or laying on a lap for some TLC. Although Wendy does well on a leash, not much exercise is required to keep her in shape, and grooming is only necessary once in a while to maintain upkeep. House training is currently a work in progress, but with a consistent routine and patience she will catch on. Her size makes her a perfect apartment pet. The adoption fee for this cute and cuddly little girl is $220.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wendy, a Pulaski Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Pulaski, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Pulaski.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pulaski already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pulaski breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pulaski paves the way for another one to be saved.
