Griffith is a male Tibetan Terrier mix approximately 1 1/2 years old. He has been professionally groomed and currently has a very short haircut due to severe matting and neglect upon his arrival to the shelter. His coat will grow out in gorgeous soft, ivory waves with gray and tan highlights on his ears and along his back. His coat should grow quite long if allowed. Griffith currently weighs 15 pounds and should gain a little more to reach his ideal weight of 18 - 20 pounds. He is a very quiet dog, undemanding and sweetly sensitive. He will always observe things first before jumping and joining the activity. He likes being with people and will follow you through the house with an innocent curiosity. Griffith has a gentle soul and will only give his love to those who show him consistent kindness and affection. We think he has had a rough past and is looking for humans he can trust again. He is super sweet with people and adores being stroked on the head and talked softly to. Griffith is good with other dogs but does not need another dog in the home to feel secure. He is interested in meeting new doggie friends, but will then go on his merry way to investigate new things. Griffith walks well on leash and rides quietly in the car. He is a true rescue and will be a loyal, devoted, and grateful pet. Griffith was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. He is very healthy and ready for his new forever home today!
Griffith’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Griffith is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Lynda, Eric and Lisa and is ready for his forever home.
