My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Both girls LOVE to play. It is definitely their favorite activity. They play long, hard, and quite often. They are very good at entertaining themselves, however, they are more than happy to include their human in with the fun-that is, if you are able to keep up with them. They are not picky about their toys-they will play with just about anything, from balls with bells inside to crinkley toys to little plush style toys. Their favorite toy appears to be a laser pointer. The best part about that is that it is a toy that requires the owners participation. Playing with the girls using the laser pointer is an absolute blast-they will have you laughing and leave you in amazement at their acrobatics. As an experienced foster mom, I am very happy and a little bit surprised at this next piece of information concerning my little ladies. For loving play time as much as they do, they are very gentle about it. Don't get me wrong, they rough house like crazy with each other, but once my hand enters the fray, they are extremely aware of it. They won't use their nails, if they bite anywhere on my person, they do not use their teeth at all, it's more like they are just mouthing whatever part of me is inside those little tiny baby mouths. I am so proud of them for being so aware at such a young age, which we estimate to be around 12 weeks.

Another activity these two little ladies really enjoy is eating. Once again, they are both easy going. They are not picky eaters at all. They eat both hard and wet food, and are very open to trying new foods. I generally feed them smaller amounts a couple times a day. I usually feed them as soon as they awake, as they come into the kitchen as if to say, Yes Mom, Good thinking, we are indeed hungry. They eat, then they play, then they relax.

This leads me to the last of their favorite activities-relaxing. After they play, and I can honestly say that in all my years of fostering, I have never seen kittens play for such long periods of time, comes their little worn out period. This is when they thoroughly enjoy being cuddled, rubbed, just loved in general. They get a little lovey dovey, lounging and licking, stretching out. This is when they seem to really focus on me and not each other.

You see, these two little ladies are sisters. They absolutely do everything together. They without a doubt balance each other out, they complement each other. The one with the full white mask is Twix. The other sister is Trixie. I have never ever in my life have had the pleasure of seeing a brown tuxedo kitty, and now I am actually fostering two brown tuxedos! These girls are absolutely unique, they both have beautiful blue eyes and very soft brown fur with little white gloves and booties. They are stunning. Pictures do not do them justice. The color of their coat is just something that needs to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. The combination of the blue eyes and brown fur is extraordinary. And the fact that they are two sweethearts make it almost impossible to believe, but it is all true. They are beautiful, playful, gentle, and loving. We are asking that you really open both your heart and home and adopt both sisters. Twix is very outgoing, whereas Trixie is a bit more reserved, even shy at times. The connection these two have is very real, and it is easy to see within just a little time observing them together. They are so unique, why adopt one when you can show off and adopt two! They keep each other company and clearly each one relies on the other for love, for play, sir security, for companionship. I know it is a lot to ask of a potential adopter, but these two little girls are very special and they do deserve the best home and family, and I truly feel that the best family would provide a home that both girls could call their own TOGETHER.

I know this is probably a lot longer than you have read on most kittens, but it is my belief that the more info I can provide you with, the better and more informed decision you can come to concerning the potential new addition to your family. If there is anything else you are curious about, please do not hesitate to contact me. There is no such thing as a stupid question. I want you to make the best decision and if you need more info, or if you need to ask more questions, then so be it. I would much rather spend the time now getting things straightened out, rather than you adopting and then figuring out that perhaps these two little ladies are not the right fit for your family. Please just put "Twix and Tricksie" in the subject line when you email me. I have had this email address for almost 15 years-you will have no problem reaching me there. Thank you so much for taking the time to read up on these beautiful sisters, Twix and Trixie. Paula Cappuccio starman925@yahoo.com
