Dodger is a male Labrador Retriever/Belgian Malinois mix approximately 4 years old. He is a big boy, currently weighing 80 pounds. Dodger has a soft tan coat with vivid black markings and adorable floppy ears. He is absolutely excellent with children, families, company, and other dogs. He is social and friendly with an amusing puppyish disposition. Dodger is highly intelligent and very trainable. He knows how to sit on command and is rapidly learning other obedience skills. He plays fetch like a champ and is completely housebroken. Dodger loves toys and playtime. He enjoys rousing games of chase or wrestling with other dogs and is a star at the dog park or dog beach. Outdoors, Dodger is an athletic powerhouse and the sky is the limit with this fun loving, energetic boy. He will thrive in an active home with someone who likes outdoor activities, hiking, jogging, dog beach, fetch and playtime. Dodger loves life and it shows. He is an enthusiastic participant in just about everything. Dodger is calmer inside the home and sleeps soundly throughout the night. He would be thrilled to have another big dog in the home to play with, but he doesn't necessarily need it if he has people to romp around with and fun places to go. Dodger rides well in the car and is always up for anything. He has a goofy, affectionate side that will grab at your heart strings. He tries very hard to please and do the right thing. Dodger was brought in stray to a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where we rescued him. He is healthy, robust, and ready for his fun new forever loving home today!
Dodger’s adoption donation is $475 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED and DEFLEAED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Dodger is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Pam and Allen and is ready for his forever home.
