PEANUT's Story...
Available: Peanut 6 yr old male Terrier cross

Peanut is a happy go lucky guy who has lots of energy. He's going to need an active family, that hopefully has another playful dog! He's so busy...2 full days with him and I have yet to get him to sit for a picture!! He makes Momma play NON stop. He's a trickster, waits until she's not paying attention, nips her tail (playfully) and takes off running. Momma falls for it every time and chases him. (Momma is the foster family's dog)
I truly think a busy house with a playful dog is what this little man needs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PEANUT, a Calgary Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Calgary, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Calgary.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Calgary already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Calgary breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Calgary paves the way for another one to be saved.
