Energy Level: Medium

Size (adult): Medium

Good with Kids? Yes

Critter Twitter:

I'm excellent at hide and seek. Mostly the hiding part #shyguy

I'm starting to prefer sleeping ON the bed instead of UNDER it #daytimenaps

About my Behaviour:

I'm very timid and shy at the moment. I'm still adjusting to the new environment in my foster home, but my foster parents have faith that I will come around! I'm also nocturnal at the moment, spending most of the day hours hiding in small spaces.

I'm starting to make great strides in my shyness, though! I come out from under the bed when my foster mom calls me. I've even cuddled on the couch a few times! I'll be a snuggly social cat in no time at this rate!

How’s my Health?

I am neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. I recently had a few teeth pulled, but I am feeling good!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simon, a Edmonton Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
