Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brawny was in bad shape when we got him. His ideal and current weight is about a 100 pounds however when we rescued him he weighed in at 60 pounds. He had tick fever, and sores all over his body. We nursed him back to health. And then almost as soon as he was feeling good and up to his ideal weigh he tore his ACL. So about 2 months ago he underwent surgery to repair that. He is now ambulatory, doing well and will make a full recovery in another couple of months when his he is able to rebuild the muscles in that leg.
Brawny seems to get along with most dogs. He has only not cared for one other dog that he has met and lived with. Mostly because he had too much energy and would pester Brawny to play with him. The pound listed him as being 5 years old.
Some of Brawny's favorite people are 8 and 15 year old. He lives with them and adores them and is happiest when the 8 year old will sit with him and pay attention to him. His face lights right up and he is in his glory. Brawny is crate trained, potty trained, leash trained and obedience trained. He is pretty perfect if you ask us, or anyone else who has met him.
If you would like to meet BrAwny or any of our not so Rotten Rotties, please go to www.rottenrottie.com and fill out the adoption questionnaire under the forms tab and return it to us. We will contact you once we have had a chance to look it over and let you know which dogs may be a good fit for you and your lifestyle. We look forward to working with you.
