Jackson's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Jackson's Story...
The only thing larger than his big handsome noggin? Jackson's gigantic heart. This soft, mellow fellow adores affection and will gaze into your eyes to let you know he'd like a few more belly rubs. When not soaking up love, Jackson generally moves slowly and at times even seems a little confused. The BACS vet team thinks an old injury may have left him a little unsteady, but his sweet outlook remains fully intact. Jackson often feels more comfortable in the presence of a calm, confident canine buddy, and he's looking for a patient person who's happy to assure him he's safe and adored. He gets along with dogs and cats. Jackson's just begun weekly training classes with BAD RAP and continued training with BAD RAP is included for FREE with adoption. Come say hello to gentle Jackson today.
The staff and volunteers of Berkeley Animal Care Services think that Jackson has a personality of a Marin Marshmallow.

Act quickly to adopt Jackson. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackson, a Berkeley American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
