My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Daisy, Daisy give us your answer true. We're half crazy, all for the love of you!" We love us some Daisy Mae here at BACS! She could just be the ideal walking companion. She waits patiently in her kennel for her harness and leash to be put on--no jumping for this girl. Out on the streets, Daisy Mae walks like a dream, keeping a perfect loose leash by your side and making wonderful eye contact throughout your journey. While she can understandably be distracted by passing dogs and irresistible smells, she eagerly re-focuses her attention on her handler with a simple prompt. Brava, girl! Daisy Mae is currently attending BAD RAP classes and is a good student. She already knows sit and is treat motivated and eager to learn. Daisy Mae came into the shelter with significant hair loss on her back-end due to flea irritation. However now that she is getting proper vet care, those pesky critters are gone and her coat is growing back beautifully. She is starting to shine like the lovely girl she is! As a part of her medical care, Miss Daisy took a little field trip to a local vet and was a model patient. She had a fun car ride, and then sat calmly in the waiting room, happily watching three kittens play in their mobile adoption cage. While being examined, she patiently allowed the vet to poke and prod to his heart's content. All in a day's work for this easygoing girl. Yep, we love Miss Daisy Mae. Come on down to BACS, and you may just fall in love too!
