Seattle Slew's Story...
Seattle Slew is a unique and sweet kitten. He and his siblings were orphaned at a very young age and spent the past 5 weeks being raised in an active foster home. They have been around other cats as well as dogs. These kittens should adjust to almost any home situation.

Slew and his siblings are around 9 weeks old now and are thriving. They would love to find homes where they can run and play, while also receiving lots of love and attention. They are very people oriented and purr like crazy!

Seattle Slew is an inquisitive and outgoing kitten. He enjoys life fully and is always ready for playtime or a cuddle session.

All of our cats have been FELV/FIV tested, have received age appropriate vaccinations, have had testing for internal and external parasites, are current on parasite prevention, and will be microchipped. All cats over 16 weeks of age will be sterilized prior to adoption. Kittens under 16 weeks will be sent home with a sterilization contract.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Seattle Slew, a Ann Arbor Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Ann Arbor, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Ann Arbor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ann Arbor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ann Arbor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ann Arbor paves the way for another one to be saved.
