Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sarge! Sarge is a devastatingly handsome, strapping young man that's new to rescue. His paperwork says he is 6, but based on our observations of his behavior and his spunky attitude, he's likely much younger than that. Sarge came from a situation where he was played with A LOT but not given many rules or boundaries. He is super smart and quick to learn! He is already crate trained, house trained, and rides in the car beautifully. In fact, he loves tennis balls so much he might actually marry them! He has already learned sit, down, and how to walk on a leash. The word that comes to mind with Sarge is pure JOY.
This young guy loves to play, and he'll be a great exercise companion for an active family. He is somewhat reactive to other dogs, and can be picky about his playmates. Because of his exuberance, he might be likely to knock down or scare a young child, so we will only place him in a home with no children under age 14.
