Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This adorably sweet girl was found on a southern highway up against the concrete wall - her rescue scene was right out of a TV episode! A rep for Tractor Supply stopped to pick her up. Then the local store called our rescue partners. She has been named Andie and she is a 4 month old (as of mid-Sept) Great Pyrenees mix and already weighs about 30 lbs. Her skin was scraped up on her chin, chest, and paws. The vet checked her over and said she wasn't hit by a car but it appeared she was either thrown from a car or fell out of the back of a truck and no one ever claimed her. She is a great girl, not a barker at all and gets along with all the dogs in her foster home. She sleeps in her kennel at night and goes to the door when she has to go out. She will play by herself or with the other dogs, happy either way.
Andie got the nickname "Pigpen" because if there is a water or mud puddle she is going to play in it!
To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue, www.luckypuprescue.org, or request an application via email, luckypuprescue@yahoo.com.
Please note, we do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
