My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Cali, and I a Super Cuddler! As you can see, I love my blankets, and I like to lounge around and get my belly rubbed. I'm super affectionate with everyone, and gentle and sweet with children. I like to ride in the car and I'm very good being left alone in the house. I'm very mellow but still have my moments of 'puppy play energy' and like to run around and get crazy for a few minutes.

Cali is currently recovering from ACL surgery and is doing very well. She does have one other issue and that is that she's deaf. Because of this, she can startle easily, esp. when she's sleeping, if she doesn't know you're there. However, there are easy ways to let her know when someone is coming near.

She's an extremely affectionate little dog and very smart. She knows some sign language and is working on learning more. She is a bit shy at first, likely because of her hearing loss, but once she gets to know you, she wants nothing more than to be with you giving you kisses. Cali is a very sweet little thing and would be a very nice addition to a home that is looking for a nice, quiet, low maintenance dog.
