Bear's Story...
Male - Large - 9 mos. - White - 34#s This guy was rescued from the shelter and given another chance, He's full of energy and loves to play and give kisses. Loves to sleep with owner and is trained to use a Doggy Door. He is an INDOOR DOG and get along great with fellow K9 companions; can be mouthy at times but that is just the puppy in him. He needs a home where he can run and just be a dog. His ideal home is to be loved and pampered like a member of the family. He will need obienced training and would prefer a family with older kids however he does enjoy all age brackets. Give him a chance and he will prove to be every bit of a good companion dog . Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Downey American Eskimo Dog/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Eskimo Dog/Golden Retriever for sale in Downey, or seeking a American Eskimo Dog/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Downey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Downey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Downey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Eskimo Dog/Golden Retriever breeders who help with American Eskimo Dog/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Downey paves the way for another one to be saved.
