Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sorry! We know her mom is a small black lab and-- looking at her siblings' long, wiry hair-- dad could be a wire-haired terrier. Since this is just a guess, only those willing to take pot-luck in terms of her ultimate breed and size should apply!
Sorry! is one of the sweetest pups of the litter, and looks and acts like a lab--she is already fetching things. After a few days in a foster home she was sleeping through the night in a crate without an accident, and is already on the way to being house-trained. She is good with kids, and likes the company of another dog to snuggle and sleep with. She has typical puppy energy, and will need regular exercise as well as someone to just spend time playing with her. With this pup, you won't be Sorry!
Because she is so small (under 7 pounds) and so young (10 weeks on10/1), Sorry! needs a family where someone is home part or all of the day to get her potty-trained and keep her socialized. Puppy obedience school is also required, once she is old enough.
You can meet Sorry! at her current foster home, Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Road, during normal store hours (847-251-6750, www.wilmettepetcenter.com) Though you may want to take her home on the spot, please know you will first have to go through our normal application process.
Her estimated date of birth is 7/24/15, and her adoption fee of $375 includes: vet exam, DAPP (distemper combo) vaccination, bordetella vaccination, microchip, fecal exam, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm preventative and spay
