Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Labrador Retriever/Pointer mix, dark brown and black
1 year old
Neutered male
Adoption fee: $225
Included in the adoption fee are rabies & distemper vaccinations, heartworm testing, deworming, spay or neuter surgery, and a free initial exam by one of many generous veterinary clinics who have donated their service.
Wilson came to FVHA on the Petsmart Charities Rescue Waggin' for a better chance at adoption. He was treated for Heartworm Disease while at FVHA and is now doing fantastic and in a loving foster home waiting for his forever family.
We always recommend crate training, exercise, playtime, and a regular schedule for potty breaks when bringing a new dog into your home. Adjustment takes time for both you and your new family member, so remember to be patient and enjoy this new and exciting time!
If you are interested in meeting Wilson, call the shelter to set up a time to meet with him and his foster family will bring him to FVHA.
Wilson's foster mom says that he gets along with dogs but plays rough so needs a buddy who is okay with that. He may not be okay with cats, and probably is not a good fit for a family with young children since he is still quite mouthy. He is very sweet and cuddly.
