LUCILLE's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

LUCILLE's Story...
LUCILLE is a happy and loving female redbone coonhound, rescued by Buddy Rescue Foundation in NC when she was thrown from a pickup truck in front of an animal control officer on patrol! Lucille was bruised, emaciated and heartworm positive, so we set out to heal and treat her heartworm and put weight on her and she is now heartworm negative and a very healthy weight and available for adoption. Lucille is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccines and is microchipped. Lucille is friendly with all dogs and cats and loves all people and children. Lucille would make a great family pet where she will get plenty of exercise and love and attention. If you'd like to meet Lucille, please call 201-264-6968 or email barbara@buddyrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LUCILLE, a Limekiln Redbone Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Redbone Coonhound for sale in Limekiln, or seeking a Redbone Coonhound dog from a breeder in Limekiln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Limekiln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Limekiln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Redbone Coonhound breeders who help with Redbone Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Limekiln paves the way for another one to be saved.
