Skittles's Story...
Skittles is at the Adopt-A-Pet Shop in Plymouth, MN- stop by and say hello!

DOB: ~ 4/26/15
Breed/Coloring: DSH/ Black
Skittles' foster mom says that he is one of the sweetest boys she has ever fostered. He will follow you around and wait for any opportunity to cuddle. He loves to be pet and has the best purr. He is busy and can find the ‘toy’ in anything, although he really thinks his sister, Starburst, is the best toy. He likes to play and have fun, but he isn't a trouble maker. He has an innocence about him that is very endearing. He does well with other cats and calm dogs. If you are looking for a pair of kittens, Skittles would love to be adopted with his sister, Starburst, but it is not required. Who wants to make this handsome, sweet boy a part of their family?

Adoption Fees: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated (as age appropriate), tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, given flea/tick & heartworm preventative, & fecal tested (dewormed if needed) before being adopted out. Skittles' adoption fee is $160 including tax; adoptive homes are given all vet records at the adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skittles, a Plymouth Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Plymouth, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Plymouth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plymouth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plymouth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plymouth paves the way for another one to be saved.
