Linus's Story...
Meet Linus. Linus is a shy guy looking for a home to help him blossom. This little dog is kind of overwhelmed at the shelter and we want nothing more than to find a home for him to relax in. Linus seemed to really enjoy being held and snuggled right into us when we picked him up. He does well with his kennel mates at the shelter who are all around his same size. Shy Linus struck a chord in our heart and we hope he does the same for you. Do YOU have room in your heart and home to help a shy shelter dog? Please come meet Linus!

Linus is listed at 2 years old and his adoption fee is $50, which includes neuter, county license and rabies certificate. He weighs approximately 7 pounds. Linus is available for adoption at the Maricopa County Animal Care & Control West shelter at 2500 S. 27th Ave., Phx Az.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Linus, a Phoenix Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
