Leland's Story...
HI my sisters and I are looking for homes. Someone left us at a shelter, and our foster mom came and picked us up. We are great, fun loving little pups. I'm the only boy out of the four of us, so I would really appreciate a home really quick. Not that I don't love my sisters, but all this girl talk can drive a boy crazy. I will be ready to come on Oct 16 to my new home. I will have three of my puppy shots, kennel cough shot, fixed and dewormed when I come to you. So won't you fill out an application today and we can get the adoption process going. If you are interested in learning more about this dog or adopting it, please paste the following link into your browser BEFORE emailing for more information. It will answer most of your questions and also give you an application to download in order to apply for the dog. Thank you! http://poochesonthemove.net/debbies-doggyland-rescue/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leland, a Harrisonburg Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
