Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brownie is one of the gentle giants at Tri County Animal Rescue Center right now. When Brownie was surrendered he stood quietly and calmly, gently wagging his tail, making fast friends with volunteers who were complete strangers to him. According to the woman who surrendered Brownie, Brownie is a 3 year old “Blue Tick Chow” who came to live with her when he was just 6 weeks old. While we do see “Chow” in the texture and color of Brownie’s coat, it’s hard to find any “Blue Tick” features, but we do see the possibility of some Rottweiler in the markings on Brownie’s face. He was surrendered because his family’s living situation has changed. Because several volunteers repeatedly used the word “sweet” to describe him, while another volunteer exclaimed that she “just wanted to hug him,” it’s safe to say that whatever else he may be, Brownie is without a doubt a special mix of “Sugar” and “Milk Chocolate” more than anything else. We have been told that Brownie knows “sit,” “lay down,” and “get in the tub.” At his previous home he was allowed outside untethered because he never wandered; he was a home boy who loved to just be with his people. Now that he is in our care Brownie is being treated for a skin condition that has made some of his hair fall out and he is responding well To meet Brownie contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center on Facebook, or call 814-918-2032, or email: contactus@Tricounty-arc.org
