Piper's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Piper's Story...

Sweet, gentle, playful--it doesn't get any better than Piper. Piper was returned to the shelter when her owner had housing issues. She may have been neglected during this time as she came in with hair loss from fleas. She's being treated and will soon be her beautiful self once again!

Piper is good with children and other dogs. She loves to play, and she's very well mannered on the leash.  This girl is a cuddler, so be prepared for some major snuggling and kisses!

If you wish to meet Piper, please visit the Humane Society of York County at 8177 Regent Parkway, Fort Mill, SC during our adoption hours Tues. - Sun. 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Visit our website at www.humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org to learn more about the HSYC.  Thank you for your support.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Piper, a Fort Mill Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Fort Mill, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Fort Mill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Mill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Mill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Mill paves the way for another one to be saved.
