Kacey is estimated at being born around 3-1-14. He is a lab mix. He is a good sized boy weighing in around 70 pounds He was a rescue from a HIGH KILL shelter in VA. He is a sweet boy and is very forthcoming with his love. He is great with adults and older children, however is is hesitant around smaller kids. He needs a home with no kids under 12 years old. He is ok with cats. He is ok with other dogs as long as they are not over bearing toward him. He is a very affectionate and attentive pup. He will be easy to train and to teach things you want him to learn. He would be excellent for an active person, and he has spent a lot of hours on trails and hiking with his fosters and care givers. He is a dream for an outdoors person. He went on his first camping trip a few days ago and he spent 3 days in the Shenandoah Mountains hiking with a group of older kids and his friend Jill. Kacey would be best suited for a home with some room. He is ok being crated at night but he has grown up having access to the outside when he wants it. So you must have yard space that would be great, however a fenced yard would be ideal. Kacey LOVES water. If you are an outdoor water loving person Kacy is your match! Kacey needs to go to a home where the humans understands that dog Kacey's size is not going to do well in a small area with no stimulation.
He is neutered and current on vaccines, deworming, heartworm prevention,flea prevention and he is microchipped. and will receive a complete physical and a health certificate issued by my vet no more than 48 hrs prior to transport.We also offer low cost pet health insurance with each adoption.
