Slapjack's Story...
Slapjack is Mr. Independent. While he likes to play he's also an adventurer and likes to explore.. This litter of puppies are the fluffiest little pups!! They were surrendered once they were weaned and came to be little Goofy Foot pups! The mom is a Cockapoo and weighed around 25 pounds. We are thinking that these guys will be around the same size. They are very social, great with other dogs, cats and kids. They are being fostered in West TN and will be transported once their adoption is finalized. If you'd like to add one of them to your family, please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Slapjack, a Southington Cockapoo/Schnauzer (Standard) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cockapoo/Schnauzer (Standard) for sale in Southington, or seeking a Cockapoo/Schnauzer (Standard) puppy from a breeder in Southington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cockapoo/Schnauzer (Standard) breeders who help with Cockapoo/Schnauzer (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southington paves the way for another one to be saved.
