Marty's Info...

Marty's Story...
Hi, my name is Marty...although my mom has fun with me and calls me Marty McFly.
I am a typical Jack Russell Terrier with all the energy you'd expect me to have. Unfortunately, I was adopted previously, and that family decided they couldn't handle playing with me everyday. I would hope that my new forever family would be willing to take me for walks (or even runs!) or throw the ball for me outside!
I love kids and people in general. I love to sit on the couch and watch tv with you. I especially like shows with dogs in them as I become very interested in those programs. I am a cuddlebug in bed and love to give kisses. I am overall very affectionate pup!
However, I am quite dominant with other dogs. I would do just fine with another dog (in fact, I do enjoy playing) if they are submissive to me. Instead, I might do better as an only dog.
With some time, I might learn to love cats, but I've never really been around them. Currently I get really excited and try to chase them.
I hope you take some time to consider adding me to your home. I've been through a lot with my last family giving up on me- I'd love to finally find my forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marty, a Norwich Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Norwich, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Norwich.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwich already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwich breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwich paves the way for another one to be saved.
