My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES YAGO INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Yago is a sweet, timid, submissive boy, approx. 10 months old.
We do not know Yago's past since he showed up as a stray in a rural shelter.
It is Evident that someone has not been so kind to Yago and he will need a patient
loving adopter to work with him. So far in the first week of him being with IDGSR
we have worked daily to bond with Yago so that he will know someone cares and loves him.
He freely gives kisses and is gentle and loving, but he needs someone to work with him on
coming to you so that he knows there is a reward of love and some high value treat for coming.
He is great with other dogs, no issues.
We have had far worse cases of terrified dogs come into rescue and those dogs were placed in loving homes that successfully finished the rehabilitation work that IDGSR started.
We do not know if Yago is a purebred but we would consider him a high content mix.
If you would like to apply for Yago and have the time to commit to seeing him be successful and knowing that there are kind and good people out there, please copy and paste the link below
and fill out our application and we will call you.
