My name is Honey! I found myself at an off island shelter one day where a kind lady took care of me until CAA Rescue could show up and bring me into foster care
I am a high energy friendly girl! I will need an active, experienced guardian. One who understands that pit bulls are so very much frowned upon by the general public who wants to make me the perfect shining example of what a great canine citizen should be!
I am currently being fostered by Kathleen from My Canine Connection so you know I am being well trained and socialized – only the most perfect family will have the chance to even meet me let alone bring me home forever!
I am getting leash trained and house trained as we speak – I am a smart cookie and learning real fast but forsure the move to a new home will upset my routine so you will have to continue the work that My Canine Connection has started with me
I do have a high prey drive so I should not in a home with cats … keep in mind I am still very much puppylike & no one spent any time with so we will have to see how this develops as I get older.
I am currently being crate trained for night time sleeps and when let alone; I crate fine and am clean in my crate. I would suggest that if you are considering meeting me for adoption you also adopt the crate just to stay consistent in my training
Because I am a baby girl that no one human thought to actually spend any time with me I really need someone committed; who has time for me so I think I should not be in a home with young children at this time. If you work and have kids with lunches to make, homework to help with, laundry to do, drive here and there as a parent taxi … well not much time is left for you to spend with me.
I am looking for an experienced, mature guardian who will listen to my trainer and continue working with me. I have had enough in my life and I really need someone to love me. I am a beyond freaking gorgeous and smart girl who can run circles around most people all day long!!

A 3-Step process to adopt one of our foster dogs.
1. Fill the adoption form. It might seem long, but it’s the best way to find the right dog for you and your family!
2. We’ll arrange a meeting with the foster family of the dog you want to meet so you can see if s/he’s the right one for you.
3. If you decide to move forward, you’ll be asked to agree to a home visit, fill-in and sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
