My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mia-Referral

This is Mia. Labrador/German Shepherd mix she is up-to-date on vaccines, spayed, micro-chipped and on heartworm prevention since she doesn't have heartworms. She currently lives with us, a family with two kids two adults and two dogs including her.

We took Mia in when she was 7 weeks old from the temple shelter in Texas. She is 17 months old now and weighs 65 lbs. Mia is kennel trained, potty trained and went to Petsmart's training she knows how to sit down lay down and leave it. She is good with most dogs but we're not sure about cats. She's good with kids but doesn't like it if someone comes towards her to fast.

The reason we are trying to find her a new home is because she needs way more exercise than we can give her. She starts chewing on things when bored since she's still a young dog. It is not fair to Mia to keep her and not give her what she deserves maybe someone that takes her in and has the time to go to lakes (which she loves) or hiking with her a lot. We tried finding her a home but haven't found a fit for her. With all the energy that she has and can't get out, since we are not able to give her the exercise she needs, we just want to find a good home I would really appreciate the help. Vet reference will be requested.
