Meet Sabrina, a full-figured, loving girl who is looking for her new Forever Home. She came to ESRA when her former owner had to go into a nursing home and could no longer care for her.
When she arrived at her foster home, Sabrina was scared and clingy. But then she had a grooming and received some extra attention, and now she is really starting to blossom and shine, although she is a little camera shy.
Sabrina is a bit of a couch potato who enjoys lounging around the house. In the right atmosphere, however, she can become playful and energetic. Sabrina is getting along very well with her small terrier foster brother, and she has even started to play with him like a puppy. Although Sabrina will tolerate cats, she does growl when they walk by.
Miss Sabrina is a Velcro dog who is always following you around. She is happy to be lying on the couch next to you or even on your feet while you do the dishes! She loves car rides, trips to the dog park, and long, leisurely walks.
Sabrina loves children, but she would probably do best in a home with older kids. Because of her size, she might inadvertently knock over small children.
Sabrina isn't fond of being alone, so she would probably do best in a home where her people are around frequently. She does not like to be crated, but she does fine with free rein in the house when her foster family is away.
Says Sabrina's foster mom, "She is such a doll. I don't know how to say that well enough!" If you are interested in making sweet Sabrina part of your family, please contact her case managers right away at the e-mail address below.
Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.
Please read the Adoption FAQ and get an Adoption Application approved before inquiring about Sabrina.
